Recommended Fluid
NOTE:
On ZF 4HP-18, transaxle and differential are separate and require different lubricants.
On all units except ZF 4HP-18, use only Dexron II ATF in transaxle. On ZF 4HP-18 use only Mopar Mercon type fluid in transaxle and SAE 75W-140 synthetic gear oil (89982-200-945) in differential. Chrysler Motors does not recommend using any additives to transmission or differential.
