Check Engine Light

CHECK ENGINE light comes on when ignition is turned on. Light remains on for several seconds after engine is started. The self-diagnostic system monitors all input signals from each sensor. If an abnormal input signal occurs, CHECK ENGINE light illuminates and fault code is stored in ECU memory.
