(1) For testing procedure, see I - SYS/COMP TESTS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section.
(2) Connect ohmmeter across reed switch terminals and rotate speedometer cable. Ohmmeter reading should fluctuate between continuity and no continuity.
