Park/Neutral (P/N) Position Switch

P/N position switch is located on automatic transaxle manual control lever. Switch detects position of selector lever and sends signal to ECM. Based on this signal, ECM determines whether transaxle is in Park, Neutral or Drive position. Based on transaxle position, ECM commands IAC motor to adjust throttle bypass air amount to regulate idle speed.
