Power Transfer Unit (AWD Models)

Park vehicle on level surface. Remove fill plug from power transfer unit. See Fig 1 . Fluid level should be even with bottom of fill plug hole. Add appropriate type of fluid if necessary. See RECOMMENDED FLUID  . DO NOT  overfill transaxle. Install and tighten fill plug to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
