Intake Air Temperature Sensor

Intake air temperature sensor is incorporated in the volume airflow sensor. Volume airflow sensor is located on air cleaner assembly. See Figure . Intake air temperature sensor delivers input signal to Engine Control Module (ECM) to indicate temperature of incoming intake air. The ECM uses input signal for controlling fuel injection system and ignition timing.
