Sensor, Air Temperature, Intake: Installation

NOTE:

This sensor monitors both Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) and Manifold Air Pressure (MAP).

The IAT/MAP sensor O-ring (1) can be reused if not damaged.
Apply a small amount of engine oil to the sensor O-ring (1).

Install the IAT/MAP sensor (1) into the intake manifold with the bolt (2) tightened to 9 Nm (80 lbf-in).
Connect and lock the electrical connector (3) to the sensor.

Install the air cleaner body (6). Refer to INSTALLATION .

Install the engine cover (1).
Connect the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 Nm (45 lbf-in).
