Pump, Water: Removal
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING .
- Remove the timing belt. Refer to BELT, TIMING, REMOVAL

- Remove the bolt and the inner timing belt cover (1).
- Remove the nut (2a) and the three bolts (2b) securing the water pump (2c) to the engine block.
- Remove the water pump (2) from the engine block by lightly prying at the upper tab (1) located on the pump assembly.
