Isolating Air Conditioning Compressor
Turn both service valves fully clockwise (front seated), and loosen cap on high pressure valve gauge port so gas will escape until compressor is relieved of refrigerant pressure, then disconnect hoses from both service valves. Cap all ports immediately.
NOTE:
On 1972 and later models equipped with six cylinder compressors, entire system must be discharged.
