Checking Fluid Level

  1. With transmission at operating temperature, engine at curb idle RPM, on level surface with parking brake applied, move selector lever through all positions, ending in "PARK".
  2. Fluid levels should be between "ADD" and "DON'T ADD" marks on dipstick.
    CAUTION: DO NOT overfill.
  3. If fluid level is correct at room temperature, it will be between "ADD" and "DON'T ADD" marks on dipstick when normal operating temperature is reached.
