Throttle Position Sensor

This non-adjustable sensor is mounted to the throttle shaft on the choke side of the fuel charging assembly. It is used to supply a voltage output proportional to the change in the throttle plate position. The sensor is used by the ECA to determine the operational mode (closed throttle, part throttle, and wide open throttle) for selection of the proper fuel mixture, spark and EGR at selected driving ranges.
