Wheel Alignment Specifications & Procedures: Adjustments: Toe

  1. Loosen adjusting sleeve clamp bolts on left end of tie rod. Rotate sleeve(s) until correct toe alignment is obtained.
  2. With clamps centered between the adjustment sleeve lock ring nibs on all other models, position clamp bolts horizontally (vertically) and with nuts pointing downward or toward front (rear) of vehicle. Tighten sleeve to 35 ft. lbs. (47 N.m).
NOTE: Steering wheel misalignment on "E" series vehicles can only be corrected by removing and recentering steering wheel after toe has been adjusted.
