Emissions Recall 91E10 - Exhaust System Catalyst Replacement
on Certain 1987-Model 49-States Taurus and Sable Cars


AFFECTED VEHICLES
1987-Model 49-States Taurus and Sable cars equipped
with 3.0L engines having calibration code 7-10A-R00 or 7-10A-R10.

REASONS FOR RECALL
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Ford
have conducted in-use tests and have determined that some of the affected cars may be-releasing carbon monoxide emission levels which exceed Federal standards.

SERVICE ACTION
Cars returned for service will have the exhaust
system catalysts replaced at no charge.
