Test Ee2, Right Front Sensor Circuit Continuity
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect 32-pin connector from the electronic controller. Using Breakout Box Adapter (TB3L-50-EEC-M, install Breakout Box (EEC-IV). Using a volt/ohmmeter set to check continuity, check continuity between appropriate pins for specific sensors.
- Check continuity between pins No. 3 and 40. There should be no continuity. If there is continuity, check wheel speed sensor for continuity. Disconnect wheel speed sensor connector. Check continuity between pins No. 1 and 2. If no continuity, proceed to step 4).
- There should be no continuity. If there is continuity, replace sensor. If there is no continuity, sensor is good. Check circuit wiring harness for short condition.
- Test the anti-lock operation of the wheel in question. Turn the air suspension off (if equipped). Lift vehicle to allow spinning of the wheel. Jumper pins No. 18, 13 and 32 to each other at the breakout box.
- Apply moderate brake pedal effort and check that right front wheel will not turn. If wheel turns freely, rediagnose stops 1) and 2). Turn ignition on. Right front wheel should now turn freely. If wheel does not turn freely, replace solenoid valve block.CAUTION: DO NOT leave Ignition on for more than one minute maximum. Solenoid damage may result.
- Lower vehicle. Turn air suspension off (if equipped). Test drive vehicle at a speed of at least 25 MPH to clear service codes.
