Stator Open Test
- Separate stator from rectifier. Adjust ohmmeter to x1 scale. Place one lead to a stator terminal. Place remaining lead on another stator lead. Note meter reading. Ohmmeter reading should be obtained.
- Stator winding is open if reading is not obtained. Replace stator coil if open is found. Repeat test procedure on remaining stator leads.
