Ignition System - DISTRIBUTORLESS: Testing: Notes

CAUTION: NEVER connect ECA to breakout box when testing DIS circuits at breakout box. ECA failure will result.

NOTE: Ford Motor Co. recommends that testing on the DP-DIS should begin by performing an EEC-IV Quick Test first. Diagnostic information from the Quick Test will direct you to the correct Pinpoint Test. Tests in this article are dependent on results from tests conducted in EEC-IV article. Refer to 2.2L CEC TESTS W/CODES article in COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS section.
