Off-Vehicle Test

  1. Unplug all module connectors. Apply 12 volts to terminal Nos. 54 and 517. Connect terminal Nos. 57 and 57A in Gray connector to ground. See Fig 1 .
  2. Push White self-test button on top of module. If no problems are found by system, the LED next to the White button will flash 6 times.
  3. If system finds a problem, LED will either not flash, or it will flash less than 4, or more than 6 times. If module passes test, check other components in system. Replace module if it fails off-vehicle test.
