Control Module Check
- Turn ignition off. Locate service diagnostic connector in upper glove compartment. Connect fabricated EVO service diagnostic lamp to service connector. See TESTING for tool fabrication. See Fig 1 . Start engine.
- When the engine starts, the control module should light the diagnostic lamp for one second. This indicates control module and bulb are functional.
- If lamp lights for one second, proceed to QUICK TEST A2 . If lamp does NOT light for one second, proceed to QUICK TEST E1 . If lamp flickers, proceed to QUICK TEST E1.
