Brake Pedal Height: Checking
- Measure distance between center of brake pedal pad and floor. Brake pedal height should be 6-7 inches (152-178 mm). If measurement is not within specification, go to next step.
- Check brake pedal for missing, worn or damaged bushings and/or loose retaining bolts. If components are okay, ensure brake pedal, brake booster and/or hydraulic actuation assembly components are correct for vehicle application.
