Perform Preliminary Inspection

Visually inspect for fluid leaks and loose engine or transmission mounts. Check CV joints for wear, damage and binding. Check for low tire pressure, blown fuses, poor wiring condition and loose connectors. Check accelerator and throttle valve linkage travel. Check shift linkage and selector lever for movement, binding and adjustment. Check oil cooler for air flow and leakage.
