Description & Operation
Power window system consists of 3 switches, one lock switch, and 2 motor and drive assemblies. The driver's door armrest contains left and right up/down control switches for both driver's door window and passenger's door window.
Power windows are regulated by 2 encased cables. See Fig 1 . The cables connect the electric motor driven regulator to a slider bracket. When the power window switch is operated, the cables move the slider bracket up and down.
