Control Module Connector Resistance Check

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Verify ABS control module connector is disconnected. Set VOM on 2 k/ohms scale. Measure and record resistance between each of following connector wire terminals:
    • White and Red wires (Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor).
    • Yellow and Orange wires (Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor).
    • Yellow/Green and Yellow/Black wires (Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor).
    • Green and Black wires (Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor).
  2. If ALL resistances are between 800-1200 ohms, go to PINPOINT TEST WSS-5  . If any resistance measurement is not within specification, go to PINPOINT TEST WSS-4  .
