System Integrity Check

Check for sufficient brake fluid, damaged wheel sensors or sensor rotors, leaks, and damaged hydraulic actuation assembly. Check ABS system wiring harness connections, looking for bent or broken pins, corrosion, loose wires, and improper routing. Check all fuses for damage and/or proper connection. Check ABS control module for physical damage. If faults are found, repair faults and go to QUICK TEST QT-2 . If no faults are found, drive vehicle to verify anti-lock brake symptom and go to QUICK TEST QT-2 .

NOTE: Ensure ignition is off before disconnecting or reconnecting any ABS electrical component.
