Testing Steering Wheel Rotation Sensor Power

Use a jumper wire to connect pin No. 12 and pin No. 5 of the 14-pin EVO harness connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage between Purple/Orange wire and Yellow/Black wire of steering wheel rotation sensor connector. If 12 volts are present, proceed to QUICK TEST C7  . If NO voltage is present, service Purple/Orange wire (circuit No. 298) between steering wheel rotation sensor and pin No. 7 of EVO control module. After servicing circuit, proceed to QUICK TEST A0  .
