Ignition Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove two screws retaining TFI/heatsink assembly to radiator support bracket.
2. Disconnect harness connector from TFI module, then remove two screws retaining TFI module to heatsink. Remove module.

INSTALLATION

1. Apply a 1/32 inch coating of silicone grease D7ZA-19A331-A or equivalent to metal base of module.
2. Place module onto heatsink, then install two retaining screws and torque to 15-35 inch lbs.
3. Install TFI module/heatsink assembly onto radiator support bracket and tighten retaining screws, then connect wire harness to TFI module.
