Short To Variable Assist Power Steering (VAPS) Control Module

Disconnect PRC control module connector, steering angle sensor connector and Variable Assist Power Steering (VAPS) control module connector. Turn ignition on. Set VOM on 20-volt scale. Measure voltage at PRC control module connector between: Green wire and ground, Green/White wire and ground and Green/Yellow wire and ground. If any voltage reading is greater than zero, repair appropriate wire for short to VAPS control module. If all voltage readings are zero, proceed to PINPOINT TEST Q1.
