Test Results

Begin with STEP A in left column, following instructions in test step column. Ignore codes retrieved with engine NOT running. A pass code in ACTION TO TAKE column indicates no faults detected. Proceed to CONTINUOUS MONITOR TEST  .

NOTE: If a constant 12 volts is indicated, a shorted circuit to VAPS control module may exist. Diagnose test connector circuit indicated in PINPOINT TEST Q1  -PINPOINT TEST Q7  to continue. Repair test connector circuit. Repeat KEY ON, ENGINE RUNNING  TEST and proceed with other tests before replacing control module.
