Pinpoint Test C2: Steering Sensor Resistance

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove steering column cover and disconnect steering angle sensor connector. Set steering wheel so wheels are straight. Measure resistance between wires indicated in STEERING ANGLE SENSOR RESISTANCE  .
  2. If resistances are as specified in table, proceed to PINPOINT TEST C3  . If resistances are NOT as specified, replace steering angle sensor.
