Circuit Test F - System Will Not Set

  1. Verify condition. Check throttle linkage for proper operation and adjustment. Adjust and service as necessary. If throttle linkage is okay, check all harness connectors for security. Service as necessary. If all harness connectors are okay, perform CONTROL SWITCHES  test under COMPONENT TESTS. Service control switches as required. If control switches are okay, go to next step.
  2. Test dump valve. Adjust and service as necessary. If dump valve is okay, check clutch switch for proper operation. Service or adjust clutch switch as necessary. If clutch switch is okay, apply brake pedal and observe brakelights. Service brakelight circuit and bulbs as necessary. If brakelights are okay, go to next step.
  3. Perform appropriate SERVO ASSEMBLY  test under COMPONENT TESTS. Replace servo as necessary. If servo tests okay, perform VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR (VSS) test. Replace VSS as necessary. If VSS is okay, check amplifier and replace as necessary. See AMPLIFIER TEST  under TESTING.
