SET/ACCEL Circuit

On Escort and Tracer, connect voltmeter between circuit No. 356 (Red/Yellow wire) and ground. On all other models, connect voltmeter between circuit No. 151 (Light Blue/Black wire) and ground. Depress and hold cruise control SET/ACCEL button. Voltmeter should indicate approximately 4.5 volts. Rotate steering wheel back and forth watching for fluctuations. If voltage varies more than 0.5 volt, perform CONTROL SWITCHES  test under COMPONENT TESTS.
