Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect electrical connector.

Vane Air Flow (VAF) Meter:

3. Remove air duct.
4. Remove attaching bolt.

Vane Air Flow (VAF) Meter:

5. Remove four attaching nuts.

Vane Air Flow (VAF) Meter:

6. Remove meter.

Vane Air Flow (VAF) Meter:

7. Remove gasket.

INSTALLATION

1. Slide new gasket over meter mounting studs.
2. Position meter and install attaching nuts. Torque to 110 - 152 in lb (13 - 18 Nm).
3. Install attaching bolt.
4. Install air duct.
5. Connect electrical connector.
6. Connect negative battery cable.
