Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Reach under instrument panel and remove heater duct.
3. Disconnect Electronic Control Assembly (ECA) connectors.

4. Remove ECA mounting bolts.

Electronic Control Assembly (ECA):

5. Remove ECA.

INSTALLATION NOTE: When installing ECA, be sure to insert mounting clip into bulkhead recess.

Electronic Control Assembly (ECA):

1. Place ECA into its mounting position.
2. Install mounting bolts and nut.
3. Plug in ECA electrical connectors.
4. Install heater duct.
5. Connect negative battery cable.
