Master Power Window Control Switch (Convertible)

  1. Use a self-powered test lamp or an ohmmeter to test the power window switch.
  2. With switch in NEUTRAL position, there should be continuity between terminals No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 and terminals No. 10 and 11. See Fig 1.
  3. When raised portion of all switch rocker knobs is pushed (to close windows), there should be continuity between terminals No. 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 11 and terminals No. 2, 4, 6, 8 and 9.
  4. When depressed portion of all switch rocker knobs is pushed (to open windows), there should be continuity between terminals No. 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 and terminals No. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 11.
  5. With lockout switch button depressed into its detented position, terminal No. 11 should not have continuity with any other terminal.
  6. If switch assembly does not test as outlined, replace the switch. See POWER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
