Check Engine Warning Light Will Not Go Off
- Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect White/Blue wire from Electronic Control Assembly (ECA) 24-pin connector. See IDENTIFYING ECA 24-PIN CONNECTOR (TURBO) or IDENTIFYING ECA 24-PIN CONNECTOR (NON-TURBO) illustration. ECA 24-pin connector is located forward of center console.
- Start engine. If CHECK ENGINE warning light goes off, check computerized engine control system, and repair as necessary. If CHECK ENGINE light does not go off, repair White/Blue wire between instrument panel and ECA.
