Tachometer Pulse Check No. 1
- Disconnect Yellow/Blue wire from ignition coil. Observe tachometer while momentarily connecting a test light with a low-wattage bulb between Yellow/Blue wire and 12 volts.
- If tachometer needle jumps, check Blue/Yellow wire for corrosion and/or intermittent contact, and repair as necessary. If tachometer needle does not jump, go to TACHOMETER PULSE CHECK NO. 2.
