ECA Check

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Ground White/Blue wire at ECA 24-pin connector. See IDENTIFYING ECA 24-PIN CONNECTOR (TURBO) or IDENTIFYING ECA 24-PIN CONNECTOR (NON-TURBO) illustration. ECA 24-pin connector is located forward of center console.
  2. Set ignition switch to RUN position. If CHECK ENGINE warning light comes on, replace ECA. If CHECK ENGINE warning light does not come on, go to CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CHECK.
