Voltmeter Inoperative

  1. Check 15-amp instrument panel fuse in interior fuse panel. Fuse panel is located just above left kick panel. If fuse is okay, go to INSTRUMENT PANEL FUSE CHECK and INSTRUMENT PANEL SUPPLY CHECK under INSTRUMENT PANEL TESTING.
  2. If fuse is blown, replace fuse. If fuse blows again, check for short to ground in Black/Yellow wire at instrument panel 18-pin connector. Repair as necessary.
  3. If power and ground circuits to instrument cluster are okay, but volt-meter indicates incorrectly, replace voltmeter.
