Pressure Feedback Exhaust Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

Component Location:

1. Locate Pressure Feedback EGR (PFE) sensor located on the side of the intake manifold.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from sensor.
3. Disconnect vacuum lines from the sensor.
4. Remove sensor by unscrewing retaining bolt(s).


INSTALLATION

1. Install the PFE sensor on the intake manifold.
2. Tighten the sensor retaining bolt to 6-8 ft lb (8-11.5 Nm).
3. Connect vacuum lines to the sensor.
4. Connect the electrical connector to sensor.
