The 6-way power seats provide horizontal, vertical and tilt adjustments. On Tempo and Topaz, only the driver's seat is powered. Cougar, Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis and Thunderbird have an optional power recliner which provides adjustment of the seatback only. Mustang uses a 4-way system which does not incorporate a tilt feature. On all models, seat function switches are mounted on side of seat trim panel. Power seat circuit is protected by circuit breakers mounted in each motor armature.
