Turn Signal Switch Test
- Turn ignition off. Unplug connectors from combination switch. Set switch to no-turn position. Measure resistance between switch terminals 2E (Green/Yellow wire on mating connector) and 1E (Black/Green wire). Resistance should be greater than 10,000 ohms.
- Measure resistance between switch terminals 2F (Black/Red wire on mating connector) and 1E (Black/Green wire). Resistance should be greater than 10,000 ohms.
- Set switch to left-turn position. Measure resistance between switch terminals 2E (Green/Yellow wire on mating connector) and 1E (Black/Green wire). Resistance should be less than 5 ohms.
- Measure resistance between switch terminals 2F (Black/Red wire on mating connector) and 1E (Black/Green wire). Resistance should be greater than 10,000 ohms.
- Set switch to right-turn position.
Resistance should be less than 5 ohms.
