Code 14, Front Impact Sensor Shorted To Ground: Description

Diagnostic monitor measures voltage at terminals No. 2 and 6 of diagnostic monitor connector. Normal voltage at these terminals is 9-11 volts with ignition on and battery voltage with ignition off. If voltage drops to 5 volts or less at terminals No. 2 and 6, Code 14 will set.
