Driver-Side Air Bag Module: Installation

Connect air bag module wiring connector to clockspring connector. Position air bag module to steering wheel and secure with nut and washer assemblies. Tighten air bag module nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table at the end of this article. Activate SRS. Ensure system is functioning properly. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
