Brake Signal: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove the lower steering column shroud.

2. Disconnect the Brake ON/OFF (BOO) switch electrical connector.

3. Remove the BOO switch by rotating it 90° and pulling it out from the brake pedal.

INSTALLATION

1. Push the BOO switch into the brake pedal and rotate it 90°.

2. Connect the electrical connector.

NOTE: To be sure that the BOO switch is properly adjusted, push the BOO switch in until it bottoms out against the brake pedal.

3. Install the lower steering column shroud.
