Throttle Full Close Switch: Adjustments

1. With ignition OFF, unplug sensor connector and place throttle valve in closed position.

2. Loosen sensor mount screws. Rotate sensor to adjust continuity between terminals IDL and GND.

3. Insert 0.006 in (0.15 mm) feeler gauge between throttle stopper screw and throttle valve lever. Continuity should exist.

4. Insert 0.020 in (0.5 mm) feeler gauge between throttle stopper screw and throttle valve lever. No continuity should exist.

5. If not within specifications, adjust the Throttle Position (TP) sensor. Adjustments

Tighten screws to 14 - 20 in lb (1.6 - 2.3 Nm).
