Throttle Position Switch: Adjustments

1. Disconnect the Throttle Position (TP) sensor connector.

Idle Switch:

2. Connect Rotunda Digital Volt-Ohmmeter 105-00051 or equivalent to the Data Link Connector (DLC) terminals IDL and GND.

Idle Switch:

3. Insert a 0.15 mm (0.006 inch) feeler gauge between the stopper and the throttle lever.

4. Continuity should exist.

5. Insert a 0.50 mm (0.020 inch) feeler gauge between the stopper and the throttle lever.

6. Continuity should not exist.
