Distributor Cap: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Mark plug wires to ensure proper sequence during installation.
2. Remove high tension wires.
3. Remove attaching screws and distributor cap.
4. Remove rotor from distributor shaft.

INSTALLATION

1. Position and push rotor onto shaft.
2. Place cap onto distributor. Take care to align locating tabs.
3. Install plug wires according to marks made during removal.
