Pinpoint Test C - Side Mirrors Do Not Function Properly
- Power Mirror System Function Test
- Remove door trim panel on side with malfunction. Using DVOM, backprobe harness connector at each connector terminal. Actuate switch for each mirror function. See Figure
. See CIRCUIT FUNCTION TEST table. If voltage is indicated at proper circuits as switch is actuated, replace mirror assembly. Retest system. If voltage is not indicated at proper circuits, go to next step.

- Circuit Check
- Remove mirror switch from dash. See SIDE MIRROR SWITCH
under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using DVOM, backprobe suspect circuit at switch connector while adjusting mirror. If circuit operates properly, service crossed wires in harness. If system does not operate properly, replace switch and retest system.
