WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1994 Lincoln Town Car. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:
Before performing wheel alignment, perform preliminary visual and mechanical inspection of wheels, tires and suspension components. See PRE-ALIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS in WHEEL ALIGNMENT THEORY/OPERATION
article in the GENERAL INFORMATION section.
NOTE:
Before performing wheel alignment, check and adjust riding height as necessary. Riding height is adjustable only on models equipped with air suspension.
WARNING:
DO NOT remove air spring under any circumstances when air spring is pressurized. DO NOT remove components supporting air spring without releasing air. Air suspension system must be shut off prior to hoisting, jacking or towing vehicle. Air suspension system can be deactivated by disconnecting battery or turning air suspension service switch to OFF position. Air suspension switch is located on left side of trunk area. Failure to deactivate air suspension system may result in unexpected inflation or deflation of air springs, causing vehicle to shift.
NOTE:
Vehicles are equipped with rear air suspension only.
