X161 - Check FP Circuit For Short To Power

- Key Off.

- CCRM disconnected.

- Disconnect PCM. Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Key On.

- Measure voltage between Pin 18 of the CCRM vehicle harness connector and the battery negative post.

- Is voltage less than 1.0 volt?

YES -- REPLACE PCM. RECONNECT all components. RE-EVALUATE symptom.

NO -- SERVICE FP circuit short to power. RECONNECT all components. RE-EVALUATE symptom.
