TB24 - Transmission Control Switch Module Short Circuit Check

- Key "OFF".

- Locate and unplug Transmission Control Switch Module (TCSM).

- Key "ON", engine "OFF".

- Does the Transmission Control Indicator Lamp (TCIL) remain on?

Yes -- Short to ground is in the 911 circuit (W/LG). Repair short. Reconnect all components. Verify Transmission Control Indicator Lamp (TCIL) turns "ON" and "OFF".

No -- TCIL turns off when TCSM is disconnected. Replace TCSM.
